are the images on the site licensed? Images
are available on either a non-exclusive licence or a royalty free licence.
The
image details will specify whether it is provided on a Non-Exclusive Licence or
a Royalty Free Licence and will also show any details about relevant licence limitations
or model/property releases. Full information on licensing is in the
terms and conditions
for this site. Licence types are simply explained thus: A
Non-Exclusive Licence means that another buyer can also purchase the image
and use the image under the same type of licence. If you wish to use the image
for more than one type of use e.g. for brochures and for your website, then you
need to buy a separate licence for each use. If you buy a 1-year licence and decide
that you wish to continue using the image after that period, you'll need to have
the licence renewed. thenaturalphotosource.co.uk will send out a reminder before
your licence period ends to ask if you wish to renew your licence, and we'll let
you know the fee payable. A
Royalty Free Licence means that you pay a single fee allowing you to use
the image as often as you like, for any purpose, for a 1-year period. If you wish
to continue using the image after that period, you'll need to renew the licence.
Again, we will send out a reminder before your licence period ends to ask if you
wish to renew your licence, and we'll let you know the fee payable. How
do I order images from the site? Below
each image is a drop down menu section for you to choose the licence details you
require, and the price is automatically calculated for you based on the type of
use, size of image, print run, position of image and duration of the use. The
type of use is divided into the following categories: Web
use - for web pages on Internet or Intranet. Multimedia
- e.g. Powerpoint presentations or CD-ROM. Display
- e.g. Exhibition Stands, shop displays. Editorial
- Images appearing within the content of e.g. Magazines, brochures, books,
leaflets, calendars (excluding covers). Promotional
- Images appearing on the covers of e.g. Magazines, brochures, books, leaflets,
calendars, postcards. Personal
- For personal, non-commercial use. When
you've used the drop down menus to choose your licence details simply click the
"add to cart" button and your image will show in your shopping
cart. You can then either continue shopping for more images, or proceed to checkout.
Secure
Online Ordering When
you go to the checkout stage and enter your details you will either be able to
order securely online using your credit or debit card via the secure payment provider
Paypal, (See
Paypal
for full terms)
If
you have an account with us, or wish to pay by cheque, you can choose the "Purchase
Order" option, in which case your order will be e-mailed to us, and we
will contact you regarding payment. If you are paying by cheque, images will be
sent out after payment has cleared. If
you regularly buy images from the site, we may, at our discretion, arrange 30-day
credit terms for you. Are
Discounts available? Yes.
If you are looking for a number of images, or more than one licence type for a
single image, or you have a regular requirement for images, discounts are available.

do you send the images to me? Delivery
is free. For
speed, images can be sent to you by email or ftp. Depending on your system limits,
larger image files may need to be sent on a CD by post. We use the following postal
methods: For
UK orders we use Royal Mail Special Delivery. For International
orders we use Royal Mail Airsure. We
will contact you via e-mail with the tracking number and delivery details, so
that you can check progress.
